PHILIPPINES -

Since ratification on 6 August, the Senate has now agreed a new national Domestic Workers Bill. However, it is still pending at the House of Representatives.

“We have been fighting for it for over 10 years. It will help to make the C189 real for domestic workers in our country”, says Lilibeth Masamloc, President of SUMAPI, a local domestic workers’ organisation.
