On April 19, 2017 we had the first ever face-to-face meeting of almost all IDWF Europe affiliates UNIA (Switzerland), FNV (Netherlands), FILCAMS (Italy), ACV-CSC and Horval (Belgium), NGG (Germany).

IDWF Regional meeting, Santiago de Chile, March 24-25

The meeting brought together representatives from all our major affiliates in the Latin America for 2 days to identify the common major challenges within their organizations and in the larger political, economic and social environment.

Bahrain: In collaboration with the ILO’s FAIRWAY Project, the General Federation of Bahraini Trade Unions joined the My Fair Home campaign.

USA: Kids to Trump: Stop Deportations!

The National Domestic Workers Alliance was one of the main organizers for a kids caravan and week of action for immigrant rights. When elected officials in Miami-Dade county turned their backs on immigrant families, local children and youth refused to back down.
